“E ka wa jo” ( which literally means let us dance in a langage of Benin) is a cocktail of rhythms and African melodies.
The singer Patrick Ruffino was from his childhood, exposed to all styles of music, from Jazz to Funk, from Reggae to Salsa, from RnB to Soul, and of course traditional African music. His father from Benin, mother from Burkina Faso and his grandmother from Ghana, Patrick Ruffino is a concentrate of West Africa, and his music the reflect of all these influences.
